Cell Message System is not a new
communication technology .It is rather an intelligent merge of the existing
information and communication systems .CMS makes it possible to send text
format information present in computer databases on to the cell phone
network, independent of their subject and classification method. In this
way, using SMS all the information present in the computer databases can be
send to the customers. This message may contain an advertisement, an
information related to customers bank account, emails, or the traffic status
of different places of city.
In this system which uses an ordinary 3V
SIM card to send short messages, information is transferred to its hardware
through the serial port of all types of PCs and is send for the predefined
customers. One of the important specifications in the design of its software
is that the software related to the retrieval of information is completely
separated from the software of sending messages. In this way , besides the
facility of retrieving information from all types of databases , section of
sending messages which has been designed within the framework of OCX
makes it possible to work in all kinds of software environments.
In addition to its small size and less
weight , which makes it portable and allows fast and easy installation ,
GCMS BOX , the hardware of system, which plays the role of interface between
information database and the center of sending short messages (Short
Messaging Service Center), has got high efficiency in sending messages.
Moreover program keeps waiting for the message of success from hardware side
and in case of failure in sending short message , the action of sending
message is repeated after n seconds. This action can be repeated k times to
get the expected results
After sending the message successfully, this system has
no control on the time and order in which the message has been received by a
client.
